Online Volunteer Application

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Just a few hours of your time can make a lasting difference in the life of an older adult.

Whether you can volunteer a couple of hours each month or a few hours each week, there's a place for you at SeniorAge.

Our volunteers are the heart of what we do, helping older adults remain healthy, independent, and connected to their communities. Every conversation, every meal delivered, and every helping hand creates an impact that extends far beyond a single day.

No experience? No problem.

We'll provide the training, guidance, and support you need to feel confident and make a difference.

Deliver Home-Delivered Meals

Be more than a meal delivery driver. Deliver nutritious meals to homebound older adults while providing a friendly visit and wellness check. For many customers, your smile may be the only one they see that day. Mileage reimbursement is available.

Welcome Visitors

If you enjoy meeting people, volunteer at the front desk of one of our Senior Centers. Greet customers, answer questions, assist with simple office tasks, and help create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Help in the Kitchen & Dining Room

Support our daily lunch program by serving meals, preparing beverage stations, washing dishes, counting meal contributions, and helping keep the dining room welcoming for everyone.

Lead Activities & Wellness Programs

Share your hobbies, talents, or passions by leading exercise classes, educational presentations, crafts, games, music, or other activities that encourage healthy aging and social connection. No special certifications are required for many opportunities—we'll help you get started.

Assist with Special Events

Help make community events, holiday celebrations, health fairs, and fundraisers successful. Volunteers play an important role in creating memorable experiences for older adults throughout the year.

Share Your Professional Skills

Use your experience in administrative support, tax counseling, fundraising, or board service to help SeniorAge continue serving thousands of older adults across southwest Missouri.

Advocate for Older Adults

Become part of Missouri's Silver-Haired Legislature and help ensure the voices of older adults are heard. Volunteers work together to identify legislative priorities and advocate for issues that improve the lives of Missouri seniors.
